Reliable firearm headshot validation for ESX roleplay servers.

zcf_antitank - Headshot Anti Tank is a lightweight FiveM resource designed to make firearm headshots more consistent and reliable on ESX roleplay servers.

In some FiveM combat situations, players can survive clear headshots because of armor values, custom health systems, sync behavior, weapon balancing or server-side damage settings. This resource validates firearm headshots using configurable conditions and, when the hit is valid, forces a clean kill.

How this script can be used in a server

This resource is useful for roleplay servers that want more reliable firearm combat behavior, especially servers using custom armor values, modified weapon damage, custom health systems or balancing rules that can sometimes make headshots inconsistent.

Server owners can configure which weapons are supported, the maximum valid distance for each weapon, which bones count as valid headshot bones, cooldown protection, debug mode and whether the system should ignore shooters or victims inside vehicles.

Main features

  • Validates firearm headshots using configured head bones.
  • Supports custom weapon ranges for pistols, SMGs and rifles.
  • Ignores melee weapons by default.
  • Includes cooldown protection against duplicate damage triggers.
  • Can optionally ignore victims inside vehicles.
  • Can optionally ignore shooters inside vehicles.
  • Includes debug logs for testing and troubleshooting.
  • Designed to be lightweight and performance-friendly.
  • Includes a clean and commented configuration file.

Configuration

The resource includes an editable config.lua file. You can edit debug mode, validation delay, hit cooldown, vehicle behavior, accepted head bones, melee weapon exclusions, weapon ranges and fallback firearm behavior.

This allows server owners to adapt the system to their own combat rules without editing the protected core logic.

Asset Escrow information

This product uses the official Cfx.re Asset Escrow system. The core client and server logic are protected, while the configuration file remains editable.

Customers can modify the important configuration options while the protected logic keeps the product secure.
